Welcome

I’m an artist, maker photographer, living and working from Studio 369 in Congo, NSW, on beautiful and sacred Yuin Country, where I’ve been creating since 1981.

My practice is shaped by the landscape around me — its textures, colours, stories, and the quiet rhythms of regional coastal life.

I work across mixed media, exploring photography, drawing, paint, clay, printmaking, fibre, stitch, and assemblage. Found and repurposed materials often find their way into my work, reflecting my practical, resourceful approach and my deep respect for place.

My creative life has grown through both formal and informal training, guided by attentive and sensitive observation and a strong connection to my family values and skills and our Scottish Orkney heritage . These influences weave through my work, grounding it in memory, materiality, and a sense of spirit, connection and belonging.

Over the years, my pieces have been exhibited along the South Coast of NSW — including The BAS Moruya, the Mechanics Institute Moruya, Art Markets, Artisans Nest Gallery, Ulladulla Community Centre, Spiral Gallery Bega, and Belco Arts in Belconnen, ACT. I am grateful that my work has found homes locally, nationally, and internationally.
